At the end of July 2009, Aberdeenshire Council took delivery of a reVend FR600 Reverse Vending Recycling machine at their offices in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.

Following the successful installation at Ellon Park and Ride, Pam Walker, Aberdeenshire Council Waste Management Officer placed an order for the FR600 Reverse Vending Recycling machine providing further evidence of Scotland and the Council’s commitment to reverse vending recycling to help the environment.

The recycling machine automatically accepts, collects and statistically records Used Beverage Containers – PET bottles and cans - ready for the national recycling chain.

The FR600 Reverse Vending Recycling machine automatically issues an “incentive reward voucher” for each used plastic bottle or used beverage can received.
